The Social Analysis for Strategic Studies Project is the result of the integration of Ce.S.I. - International Studies Centre’s strategic analysis and defence sector competences on geo-political areas and Cultur-e Digital Media’s international expertise in the analysis of on-line communications.
This new research methodology strengthens the traditional analysis of strategic scenarios with the ability to listen to on-line users by geographic areas, issues and conversation channels.
The analyses of trends revealing the interests and reactions of the on-line electorate with regard to public policy or company initiatives with a vast social impact allow us to overcome language and geographical barriers and extend our focus on spontaneous opinions at any latitude and on large conversation volumes.
The integration of traditional strategic scenario analyses with insight based on on-line conversations, strengthens our ability to monitor specific situations and possible crisis scenarios characterised by initial phase trends. Our analysis aims to identify coherent and efficient action strategies.
The analysis of the geo-cultural context is a strategic success factor. The analysis of web conversations allows us to understand, habits, local traditions, social and cultural dynamics, and develop scenario analyses, as well as observe individual countries, organisations, issues and market sectors, even comparatively.
